The winds of change have again come to Perfect Gift Ministries. After much prayer and consideration, we have been led to move from the Short-Wave Radio ministry into the world of Internet Radio. Using this broadcast method, we have the potential to reach millions around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The PGM Radio network was launched on March 3, 2003. Since that time, we have rebroadcast all of Chris Blodgett's Stand Therefore programs and also rebroadcast Pastor Billy Blankenship's Worldwide Hope broadcasts, We have also broadcast other programs that we have found relevant. The Disaster of 21st Century Ministry
The tragedy about Christianity in the 21st Century is that you cannot tell the difference between the organizations whose goal it is to make money for their stockholders and most Christian ministries. Both work to spread their name around the world so they can peddle their products and collect a lot of money. After they pay for their expenses, they use that profit to expand their operations by building bigger buildings and hiring more staff. Interestingly, most of the new staff hires are there to increase their product sales and increase their profits. Serving the Body of Christ and doing real ministry has become secondary.

Many 21st Century ministries revolve around "stars" who travel around the world and hold big meetings to promote themselves. Attend one of these meetings and you get to see that star's show (just like you do if you go to a Hollywood star's show). Surrounding that star's show are tables peddling their books, tapes and other merchandise. If Jesus Christ is mentioned at all, He is just a sidelight. The star is the show and everything centers on the star. Something is wrong with this picture!

Real Christian Ministry!
The real core of Christian ministry is giving. Jesus never sold anything! Moses never sold anything! Neither did the prophets or the apostles! Twice, Jesus cleansed the temple of the merchants and moneychangers who were making merchandise of the people of God.

True Christian ministry is about giving. Real Christian faith is giving to the body of Christ without ever expecting anything in return. Real Christian faith is getting down on your knees before God and truly asking him where you should give your money. If someone has to make you feel guilty so they can get you to open your pocketbook, they are not honest ministers of Jesus Christ. Faith works both ways. The people receiving must not expect to receive and the people giving must do so not expecting to receive. While the Christian is expected to pray for their needs, they must have real faith to trust God to meet their needs as He sees fit.

Many radio consultants warn station managers that cutting off your station during the non-ratings slot of midnight to 6:00 A.M. can hurt your overall ratings. Lower ratings mean less ad dollars!
