Systematic TheologyIn week 4, we began our discussion of special  revelation. Special revelation is special because: 1) Not all men receive it 2) It’s contents are salvific. We saw that God reveals Himself to man “specially”  in three distinct forms: 1) His spoken word 2) His incarnate Word 3) His written word. Our discussion was limited to God’s spoken word this week as we saw how God has spoken to man both directly and indirectly throughout history. We also applied our discussion to the requirement for spiritual discernment today.
