The Holiness of God

Systematic TheologyThis week we discussed God’s holiness which unfolds into two distinct categories: 1) God’s goodness and moral purity 2) the utter separateness and otherness of God. The Holiness of God is often used in Scripture to convey the immeasurable intensity of His presence. God’s presence is “dreadful” and “awful” according to Scripture and thus, Christians must not approach Him lightly. He is utterly Holy.
